I Love Arm Candy

Happy Friday! Earlier this week I came across this amazing cuff! Its a rose gold statement cuff sold at Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom Rack is a great store if you are in search of unique designer merchandise at amazing prices. This cuff reminded me of how much I love arm candy (aka bracelets, bangles and cuffs).  I just love arm candy especially this time of year. During the cold and gloomy winter months bright colored arm candy is fun and makes the days brighter.  I was inspired to search for more and found this fun and unique arm candy!

Holiday Gift Guide $25

Holiday GIft Guide $25 & Under

Happy Friday! I cannot believe its almost December! Before you know it, it will be the holidays. I just love the holidays, decorating the tree, singing Christmas Carols, the endless holiday parties.  My favorite part of the holiday season is holiday gift shopping! I have become a pro at buying thoughtful presents without overspending. Gift buying should not empty your bank account nor should it be a stressful task. I’ve found something for the music lover, fashionista, fitness fanatic, technology lover and more. Here are ten of my favorite gift ideas all at $25 and under.

Black Friday Wish List

Black Friday Wish List

Knee high boots/ Sweater dress/sweatshirts and hoody/Knit top/ Zipper bag/ Sheer shawl/Diamond chain necklace/ Black jacket /Long sleeve cardigan

I can hardly believe that we are only one week away from one of the biggest shopping days of the year! Many retailers have already published their Black Friday sale ads on line. In reviewing I can probably think of about a dozen things I would love to buy on Black Friday, but my budget does not allow. I’ve narrowed down my Black Friday Wish List (items pictured above). This is the day to take advantage of the amazing sales but you must be prepared.

  8 Tips Black Friday Success:

1. Do Your Research & Read Sales Ads Carefully
Have an idea of the sales you want to hit, note the start an end times of special sales.

2. Dress Comfortably

You may be outside in the cold (depending on your location), on your feet standing in long lines, and running around all day.

3. Create A Must Have List

By mapping out your wish/gift list ahead of time you remain organized and focused while shopping.

4. Shop Popular Sales First

Target, Khol’s, Walmart and Best Buy are known for having popular Black Friday Sales. Merchandise will fly off the shelves (literally).Visit these stores first.

5. Bring Store Maps & Sales Ads

Some stores such as Target post a map listing where the sales items will be located in the store. This saves valuable shopping time and will help you get right to the popular items before they sell out.

6. Leave The Kiddies Home

If you have a babysitter. I cannot tell you how many sleepy-eyed children I see on Black Friday (at 3am) in their Sponge Bob footie pajamas. I love kids but they take away from your focus on shopping.

7. Be On the Lookout for Coupons

Some retailers post coupons online and within the sales paper. Saving while spending is a yes!

8. Pack A Bag Of Patience

We all know this can be a stressful day…long lines, out of stock merchandise, the pushing and shoving. Bring a smile and a good book to read in the checkout line.

Fall Transition: Blazers

Summer is officially over! Not ready to let go of your favorite summer dress?  The easiest way to transition a summer dress into fall is by adding a fitted blazer and a pair of knee length boots. Adding a bright colored accessory is a great way to maintain those bright summer hues while slowly mixing in falls colors.
For a casual work day pair a colorful fitted blazer with a pair of dark denim jeans.
A cropped fitted blazer in black is ideal for transitioning a summer work outfit into fall. Check out these every day blazers from Target all priced under $50!
