I recently came across this image of a woman reading a book with one hand and holding a cup of coffee in the other. The outfit she wore immediately caught my attention; a classic combination of a white peter pan collar shirt, a gray sweater, black pencil skirt with arm candy of bangles. I am a big fan of the peter pan collar, its a classic piece that can be worn in many different ways: a shirt, a jeweled collar, over a cardigan, over a dress, the options are endless. Swapping the gray sweater for another color such as blue, green, orange, purple or pink is the perfect way to create several outfits with a few key pieces. I found great and inexpensive items to recreate this outfit and a few extras to create several other looks. What do you think of the peter pan collar?
