I recently attended my first Independent Fashion Bloggers conference in New York City. If I could sum up my experience in one word it would be phenomenal! I was nothing but amazed from the moment I stepped foot into the conference until the moment I left with a fashion filled swag bag. I met some amazing Fashion Bloggers, Designers, Stylists…the list of incredible talent continues. How cool was I to have been in a room filled with such intelligent, creative and business driven individuals! Here are a few highlights from my first Independent Fashion Bloggers conference.
My favorite moments included the informative, insightful and humorous panels and winning this awesome metallic purple satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company! I stopped for a quick photo with a fellow winner Kelly Saks of Kelly’s Kloset. We were treated to makeup sessions with bareMinerals. People watching the funky and creative outfits was pure eye candy. Oh! Drumroll please…I got to a take a picture with Tyson Beckford!!
I finally met my Twitter buddy Tania of Fashion Delights!

What’s a Fashion Bloggers conference without a T-Shirt DIY?
Overall, I had an incredible experience at my first Independent Fashion Bloggers conference! I learned a lot of valuable blogging information, made great networks and got pampered all at the same time. I cannot wait to attend another conference!

Emily, thank you! Yes, it was a great conference, I gained a lot of information and made new networks, winning the bag was an extra treat! It was great value to new bloggers such as myself. Wow that is hard to choose, there was so much valuable information. If I had to choose it would be the workshop that was given about Trademark and Copyright law. Any pictures you take and post on your blog you own. If someone takes pictures of you they own the photos posted on your blog. I did not know that, it sounds obvious but some bloggers may not know. I believe its important to make sure your information is protected. To me that was one of the most valuable workshops at the conference.
