Its so hard to imagine that its already February! This morning I was thinking about Valentine’s Day next week. Valentine’s Day is about showing the person you love what they mean to you, not just a lover but also your love ones, friends and yes, admirers. I am a little bias about Valentine’s Day, don’t get me wrong its great to show love but I believe it should be every day. Why dedicate just one day to show love when you should show it everyday? I love receiving flowers and chocolates on Valentine’s Day but what I value most are the simple things, thoughtfulness and spending quality time with that special someone. I love simple gifts from the heart, here are a few of those simple things.
I can hardly believe that Christmas is a week away! Where did the month of December go? What is even more surprising is that the new year is right behind it. I am a little last minute with everything this year. This weekend I will put up my tree and decorations; I will also do something I never do, last minute Christmas shopping. Last minute is not always bad, I have found that some of the best sales of the season are right before Christmas. In browsing online, I found great last minute gifts ideas for her just in case you will be shopping last minute.

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday! I have such fond memories of my childhood at Christmas time. I remember decorating our Christmas tree, this fake white tree that we stored in this huge brown box. We decorated it precisely the same every year and placed the same color balls including our keepsakes (a few of which we still have today). I can hear the blaring of Christmas music on our stereo. I remember the sweet aroma of my moms famous fruit cake and the chocolate chip cookies we baked for Santa Claus lingering through our house. My fondest memory is of writing my Christmas list to Santa. I remember writing my first letter to Santa using this red crayon and carefully planning what I would say. Although I don’t plan to mail this one to Santa, I thought I would share my Christmas Wish List with you. What is your fondest childhood memory during the holiday season?
Happy Friday! I cannot believe its almost December! Before you know it, it will be the holidays. I just love the holidays, decorating the tree, singing Christmas Carols, the endless holiday parties. My favorite part of the holiday season is holiday gift shopping! I have become a pro at buying thoughtful presents without overspending. Gift buying should not empty your bank account nor should it be a stressful task. I’ve found something for the music lover, fashionista, fitness fanatic, technology lover and more. Here are ten of my favorite gift ideas all at $25 and under.
Its the holidays!! Can you tell how excited I am? I love this time of year, especially for the sales and new debuts. There are many things I look forward to during the holidays: listening to Christmas music while decorating the Christmas tree, watching my favorite Christmas movies, baking cookies (currently daydreaming about doing all of the above). What I look forward to most is the Sephora Collection! Every year Sephora comes out with this beautiful limited-edition palette with just about every shade of eye shadow, eye liner, lip gloss and blush imaginable! Continue reading
