I declare today’s letter “S” as in Shopping, Sales, Savings and Steals! We are in the middle of summer yet stores are already making room for fall merchandise!
The best time to shop for deals on summer merchandise is right now! First, check store websites before leaving, sometimes the online sale is much better than in store. Pre-shopping online gives you an idea of what’s on sale in the store. Also, some stores post printable coupons, print and use those on your shopping trip for additional savings.
Shopping Tips:
- Eat before you leave & pack a nutritious snack & drink (Saves money and allows more shopping time)
- Wear comfortable clothing and shoes!
- Create a list of stores with the best sales (This is like your shopping map)
- Start shopping early (The best time to shop is in the late morning to early afternoon (Duh, first dibs on sale items!)
- Create a budget (Sales are great but don’t go overboard)
- Act fast on summer sales!
